Jimmy Choo Toga Jewelled Sandal On Sale!da bridalwave.tv
Of course it’s limited to what’s in stock so go take a look now, I found these gold leather jewelled sandals from Jimmy Choo with a whopping £245 off, I think that they’d be perfect for a glamorous civil do, or with a Grecian style wedding dress? If you don’t need to the extra inches or wince at the idea of spending a day on your tip toes, they’ve got kitten heels too… Jimmy Choo's "Stardust" sandal - named after the movieda shoewawa.tv
Quite often makeup ranges will be created to coincide with movies (Legally Blonde by Stila, anyone?) but it's not so often a high-end shoe brand will bring out a shoe inspired by a flick. But 'Stardust' is a bit of a special case, a highly anticipated, star-studded fantasy tale based on the graphic novel by Neil Gaiman. The beautifully weird tale is the inspiration for this gorgeous Jimmy Choo creation. The chain detail is a reworking of the mystical pendant worn by Claire Danes in the film, and if you fancy a bit of fantasy footwear, the shoes will cost $850 when they hit the shelves. Sprin 2008 Milano Fashion Week: Ethnic Inspiration II°parteda shoeblog.comThank goodness Milan Fashion Week Spring 2008 is providing us with some more interesting out there shoes than New York did. Leave it to the creative Italian shows to do it up right. Nothing tops the Prada creations Shoesense posted about, but there have certainly been some other unique shoes so far. Alessandro dell’Acqua seems to be taking some inspiration from the tight-laced traditional Japanese kimono look (he also has a whole lot of obi belts in his collection that I love), including an elaborate version of the okobo or geta.
La Perla also goes for the ethnic touch, but this time with a sort of pseudo-wild-animal-in-the-bush feathers and snakeskin approach. ![]() But Missoni is my favorite (well, my favorite for style, not for creativity) with this not-so-ethnic but oh-so-pretty chunky sandals that are a sort of hybrid of wedges and pumps (wumps).
Jimmy Choo Sandelsda shoebunny.com
This style is called “Idol” and features black leather, a chunky gold chain around the ankle and on top of foot as T-strap, black strap across toe, and the classic Jimmy Choo heel. Be bold and wear some chain sandals. These shoes are not for fainthearted women. See Petra Nemcova in Manolo Blahnik chain sandals, Pink in yellow chain sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti, Karolina Kurkova in chain sandals from Manolo Blahnik, Ana Beatriz Barros in ankle-wrap chain sandals from Manolo Blahnik, Rose McGowan in Stella McCartney chain sandals, Charlize Theron in chain sandals from Jimmy Choo, Gwen Stefani in Stella McCartney T-strap chain sandals, Milla Jovovich in silver metal chain sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti, Leonor Varela in chain sandals from Manolo Blahnik, Daniela Hantuchova in Manolo Blahnik chain sandals, the gorgeous Angie Harmon in black “Purisca” chain sandals from Manolo Blahnik, and Gisele Bundchen in white “Purisca” chain sandals from Manolo Blahnik.

Spring 2008: Milano Fashion Week I°parteda shoeblog.com The shows just keep on coming, and the shoes just keep on making statements. The newest crop of designer shows in Milan includes some of the heavy hitters of the fashion world (Dolce&Gabbana, Pucci, Versace, and Fendi among others). And what have they brought us? Well, Dolce&Gabbana have won my award for best use of ‘’arts and crafts'’ styling with several variations on this brocading technique that I love. ![]() They’ve also done a lot of patent leather snakeskin, which I’m less nuts about.
Pucci has brought out more designs with that gimp-like robe element. I imagine we’ll be seeing a fair amount of that come Spring 2008 shoes, since it’s showing up in lots of places on the runways. Can’t say I love that look overall, but I do love these shoes! Candy colored Pucci deliciosity!
Versace continues with the glam/luxe a-little-over-the-top style they’re known for. My fave shoe from their show? This one in a pretty pretty kelly green. ![]() Fendi seems to have put all of their models in variations on this shoe, which I almost love, but then just at the last minute, my love veers off into great disgust. So close, yet so far. ![]() But at least this model’s feel look like they might be escaping the runway mostly unscathed. Unlike some of the other girls’ feet we’ve seen on the catwalks. And speaking of models’ feet in danger, Dsquared wins my award for Worst Fitting Shoe on the Runway. ![]() It’s a shame, because the shoe itself is quite lovely to look at. But that poor model looks like she’s a second away from falling completely out of that shoe. Her heel’s going to slip down that steep slope of an arch and her toes are going to slide of that front platform (look they’re already halfway there) and she’s going to fall on her face! partecipo al contest "blog piu particolare" organizzato da http://giugginabella.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!78E3E860A8CD6B42!1254.entry?owner=1 partecipo anche al contest grafico sulle principesse http://flooriloo.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!223D8338EBAAF515!1633.entry partecipo anche al contest organizzato da http://kiathebest94.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!3962279DAA963843!1210.entry?owner=1 partecipo anche al concorso http://cid-e78046281b4e4618.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E78046281B4E4618!437.entry#post яιѕυℓтαтι ¢σитєѕт "яαρρяєѕєитα ιℓ мισ вℓσg"є¢¢σ¢ι qυι...

Faithful Shoeblog readers may remember back in May when Shoesense posted about the new shoes-only zip code at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Well, what’s the good of living near such a shoe lover’s Mecca if I don’t go check the place out now that it’s been open for a few weeks. So that’s what I did for a part of Saturday afternoon. And for all you shoe lovers out there who want to live vicariously through my trip, I come bearing pictures. Come walk with me in Shoeland.

More below the jump.
The Miu Miu section.
Roger Vivier: the section that typified the overall style of the whole place, which was an appealing mixture of modern and old-fashioned furniture and decorative accents.
A few of the sparkly glam Rene Caovilla creations on display.
A peek into the Cafe SFA, where a prix fixe lunch was $25 and I refrained from eating.
Video screens showing runway footage near the Christian Louboutin section.
Louboutins, including the one shoe on the whole floor that I fell totally in love with:
That would be this one. I love its vintage 40s style and its sexy mesh netting.
Thank you for the illustration of what a ‘’high heel'’ is. Not like nearly every shoe on your entire floor falls into this category.
Postcards from 10022-SHOE. I must say, I think the idea of making your display window into a postage stamp is rather clever.
And that’s it, shoe lovers. Overall, the place looked gorgeous, and it was a fun little outing. There were plenty of things that we saw on runways last year. Remember the Chanel plaid boots? There they were for purchase. But I have to say that in the entire floor, it really was just that one Louboutin that caught my eye as something unique and different. Maybe I’m just not feeling this season’s styles. There were plenty of pretty shoes, sure. Plenty of oxford heels and ankle booties and pumps with metallic heels. But nothing really blew me away. It all sort of blended together into one massive jumble of designer shoes that were mostly muted colors and similar shapes and really… nothing special.

Hollywould's shoes are never less than dramatic, but I think they've excelled themselves with these satin 'Frances' pumps. The curved heel and satin bow would be eye-catching enough, but that bright purple colour with the fuchsia trim means that you couldn't fail to get noticed in these. If the bright colours are too much for you, 'Frances' is also available in black and brown, and is $395. I'm not sure how practical those satin-covered heels will be (I'd definitely not want to wear them in the rain, put it that way) but then, shoes like these aren't really really meant to be practical, are they?

Despite the fact that no one will know but you that your wedding shoes have been personalised, it's quite a sweet idea and similar to ones we've seen before. Are you planning a beach wedding and don't fancy the thought of scorching your tootsies on hot sands? These gorgeous little pearl flip-flops are certainly not a conventional wedding shoe but they might just be perfect for such an occasion.
While you can splash some cash on heels for the reception, you won't mind getting this pair suitably sand covered, and they'll still look the part. Especially perfect if you've chosen pearl accessories these sandals are quirky and very cute. £28 from Oli online.

There's only one problem with these sandals...wear them on your wedding day and there's a chance no-one will actually look at you, only your feet! I think it's worth the risk as it's the one day in your life where you can blow all your cash on shoes and not feel guilty.
These are 'champagne fetish sandals' by US shoe designer Hollywould and come in champagne satin with a feather detail on the toe. They are available in sizes UK 4 - 7 and cost a mere $525 (approx £270 in old English money).
If you want them (and I know you do!) snag them online at Hollywould.com
